Bay Area Turning Point is a nonprofit serving victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in the southeast Houston region since 1992, operating a 24-hour crisis hotline, emergency shelter, counseling, legal advocacy, and case management.
This United Way of Greater Houston partner provides trained advocates who assist survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault with protective orders, police reports, documentation for criminal proceedings, and court accompaniment. The free service does not employ attorneys; call to schedule an advocate.
