AVDA is a non-residential domestic violence center serving Greater Houston that works to end family violence through free legal aid, trauma counseling, an accredited battering intervention program, and prevention education.
This United Way of Greater Houston partner offers an accredited psycho-educational group program of at least 18 weekly sessions to change abusive behavior, with individual evaluation and accountability planning, for self-referred and court-referred adults across Harris, Galveston, Montgomery, and Fort Bend counties.
