Empowers Houston's fence-line communities to fight for clean air and environmental justice through monitoring, education, and direct action.

Texas Environmental Justice Advocacy Services (TEJAS) empowers residents of Houston's most pollution-burdened neighborhoods — especially communities of color in the East End, Manchester, and Harrisburg — with the tools to create sustainable, environmentally healthy communities. Through environmental monitoring, policy advocacy, community education, and direct action, TEJAS has been fighting for clean air and clean water in fence-line communities since 2006.
