The Independent Police Oversight Board reviews Houston Police Department policies, investigates complaints about officer conduct, and makes recommendations to the Chief of Police and City Council. The board promotes accountability and community trust in law enforcement. Meetings are open to the public and cover police use-of-force policies, complaint investigations, and community relations.
