The Center for Houston's Future (CHF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 2000 that works to shape the long-term future of the greater Houston nine-county region. It brings together business, government, academic, and community leaders to tackle the region's most important challenges through research, strategic planning, and action. CHF focuses on three main areas: energy transition (including clean hydrogen and workforce development), healthcare and health equity, and immigration. The organization runs leadership programs, publishes research reports, and convenes summits and forums to build a stronger, more competitive Houston. It also operates a long-range planning initiative called Vision 2050 to help guide the region's future.
