LISC Houston's 2026 Small Grants Program offers grants of up to $5,000 to 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations in Houston. Funded projects must reinvigorate civic engagement, strengthen neighborhood leadership, or support grassroots solutions to community challenges. Applications are due March 2, 2026, by 12:00 PM. LISC Houston is pleased to announce the launch of the 2026 Small Grants Program, an initiative designed to support community-driven projects that strengthen neighborhoods, enhance civic engagement, and support local leadership. Since its inception in 2015, the Small Grants Program has funded hundreds of community initiatives, engaging over 52,000 participants and leveraging millions of dollars toward neighborhood improvement efforts.
The 2026 Small Grants Program provides grants of up to $5,000 to 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) organizations for initiatives that:
Reinvigorate civic engagement and participation
Strengthen neighborhood leadership and collaboration
Support grassroots solutions to community challenges
