Overview
iLead cultivates confident, respectful, and engaged young leaders who embrace their own faith traditions and embody effective multicultural leadership skills. The program serves 8th grade students alongside a parent or guardian through multi-month experiences or day-long immersions exploring Houston's diversity, allyship, volunteerism, and service. Students develop interpersonal skills, communication abilities, and the capacity to build networks across diverse faith and cultural backgrounds. Programming is interactive, fun, and grounded in real community engagement.

For over 60 years, Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston has brought people of diverse faith traditions together for dialogue, collaboration, and service to the most vulnerable in our community. IM Houston operates Texas's largest Meals on Wheels program (delivering 1.5 million meals annually to 4,300+ homebound seniors), resettles refugees from 40+ countries, coordinates thousands of disaster and community volunteers through Volunteer Houston, and fosters interfaith understanding through dialogue programs, youth leadership, and cultural exchange.
