Chronic Disease Education at Northeast MSC

Overview

Free education programs to help residents manage chronic diseases such as diabetes and high blood pressure at the Northeast Multi-Service Center, 9720 Spaulding St in Houston's Settegast neighborhood. Classes are offered by the Houston Health Department and cover nutrition, medication management, physical activity, monitoring vital signs, and knowing when to seek medical care. Programs are open to all community members and are designed to reduce hospitalizations and improve quality of life for people living with chronic conditions. IM Houston

For over 60 years, Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston has brought people of diverse faith traditions together for dialogue, collaboration, and service to the most vulnerable in our community.
