Peer Support Volunteer — The Harris Center for Mental Health

Overview

The Harris Center is the largest provider of mental health and substance use services in Harris County. As a peer support volunteer you will connect with clients who are navigating mental health challenges, sharing your lived experience and helping them build connections to community resources. Training is provided. Volunteers commit to four hours per month minimum. This role is especially meaningful for people who have personal experience with mental health challenges and want to turn that experience into service for others.
