Who Decides
Tuesday, November 3, 2026 is General Election Day in Texas. Harris County voters will elect the Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, U.S. Senator, U.S. House representatives, state legislators, judges, Houston Community College board members, and decide any ballot propositions. Polls are open 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. On Election Day you must vote at your assigned precinct location. Bring a valid photo ID. Find your polling place at harrisvotes.com. If you are in line by 7:00 PM you will be allowed to vote.
