Know Your Rights — immigration legal workshops

Overview

FIEL Houston offers free Know Your Rights workshops for immigrants and their families in the Houston area. Topics include understanding your rights during ICE encounters, what to do if stopped by police, how to prepare a family safety plan, and how to access legal services. Workshops are held in Spanish and English at community centers, churches, and schools across Houston. FIEL also provides DACA renewal assistance and immigration case referrals.
