Harris County Commissioner Precinct 4 provides group bus transportation for day trips and community outings. This service helps organizations, schools, senior groups, and community associations plan educational and recreational trips using county-provided buses and drivers. Groups can visit museums, historical sites, sporting events, cultural venues, and other destinations throughout the greater Houston area and beyond. The service removes transportation barriers that often prevent community groups from taking meaningful trips together. It's especially valuable for senior centers, youth organizations, schools, and nonprofits that might not have access to safe, reliable group transportation. To use this service, groups must submit three forms at least 30 days before their planned trip: a coordinator information form, bus reservation form, and detailed trip itinerary. The county requires advance planning to ensure proper scheduling and safety protocols. Buses are not available on Mondays or holidays, and some dates may be restricted for special events. Once your itinerary is approved, no additional stops can be added except for necessary rest breaks. For after-hours emergencies or weekend questions, groups can call 281-805-8423. This service strengthens our community by making group travel accessible and affordable, helping residents explore educational and cultural opportunities together while building stronger neighborhood connections.
