Where We Live
The Houston Planning Commission meets every other Thursday at 2:30 PM at 611 Walker Street, 6th Floor. Commissioners are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by City Council. These public meetings review subdivision plats, variance requests, and comprehensive planning matters that shape how Houston neighborhoods develop. Agenda items include major development proposals, plat approvals, and land use recommendations to City Council. Residents can submit written comments or speak at the meeting on posted agenda items.
