Where We Live
The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County Board of Directors meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 10:00 AM at METRO Headquarters, 1900 Main Street. The nine-member board oversees all transit operations, route planning, and capital investments for Houston regional public transportation. Meetings are open to the public and cover bus and rail service, fare policy, new route proposals, and major projects like the University Corridor BRT. Public comment is available by registering 48 hours in advance.
