Making It Work
The Houston First Corporation board meets monthly to oversee the George R. Brown Convention Center, Wortham Theater Center, Jones Hall, Miller Outdoor Theatre, and other city-owned cultural and convention venues. Meetings are open to the public and cover venue operations, major event bookings, capital improvement projects, and investments supporting Houston's convention tourism and performing arts industries that generate billions in economic activity.
