Making It Work
The Gulf Coast Workforce Board meets monthly to direct federal workforce funding across the 13-county Gulf Coast region. The board oversees Workforce Solutions career offices, job training programs, and employer partnerships that connect Houston-area residents to employment opportunities. Meetings are open to the public and cover regional labor market trends, training investments, and programs supporting job seekers including veterans, youth, and workers affected by industry transitions.
