Girls Inc. of Greater Houston helps all girls become strong, smart, and bold. We create safe spaces where girls can grow and learn. We believe every girl has strength and potential.
Our work focuses on girls from low-income families and girls who face extra challenges because of their race, religion, background, ability, or identity. We listen to what these girls need. We stand up for them. We work together with our community to make things fair for everyone.
We respect each girl as a whole person. We celebrate what makes each girl unique. We hold ourselves accountable to the girls and families we serve.
Our programs help girls build confidence, handle tough situations, and reach their goals. Girls who participate in our programs show real progress in school, friendships, and how they see themselves. When girls thrive, our whole community gets stronger.
