Overview
Shadowbriar Elementary is our neighborhood public school in Southwest Houston, serving 489 students from pre-kindergarten through fifth grade. Located at 2650 Shadowbriar Drive in the 77077 area, this Houston ISD school provides free, quality education to families in Alief and surrounding communities. Principal Reginald Bush leads a team of teachers and staff who work every day to help our youngest learners build strong foundations in reading, math, science, and social skills. The school offers much more than classroom learning. Students get free breakfast and lunch every day, ensuring no child learns on an empty stomach. After-school programs, sports teams, and clubs help kids explore their interests and build friendships. Families also receive support services including counseling, special education resources, and English language learning programs when needed. Shadowbriar Elementary matters because it gives every child in our area access to education, regardless of their family's income. Strong elementary schools create stronger neighborhoods and prepare our kids for middle school success. To get involved, parents can volunteer in classrooms, join the PTA, or attend school board meetings. Contact the school at (281) 368-2160 to learn about enrollment, volunteer opportunities, or upcoming events. Our community grows stronger when we support our neighborhood schools.
