Overview
Red Elementary School is a Houston ISD public school that serves our Southwest Houston community with free education for students from early childhood through 5th grade. Located on Tonawanda Drive near Bellaire Boulevard, Red Elementary educates 607 students in a diverse neighborhood where families speak many languages and bring rich cultural backgrounds to our school community. Our school provides more than just classroom learning. Students get free breakfast and lunch every day, access to library resources, computer labs, and after-school programs that help working parents. Red Elementary offers special education services, English language learning support, and gifted and talented programs to meet every child's needs. The school connects to major bus routes and serves families in apartments and homes throughout the 77035 area. Parents can get involved through the Parent Teacher Organization, volunteer in classrooms, or attend school board meetings to have a voice in education decisions. Red Elementary prepares our children for middle school and beyond while building strong community connections. To enroll your child, visit the main office with proof of address and immunization records. The school office at 713-726-3638 can answer questions about registration, school supplies, or special programs. Our students are our future leaders, and Red Elementary gives them the foundation they need to succeed.
