Overview
Frost Elementary School is a Houston ISD public school that serves our community's youngest learners from Early Education through 5th grade. Located at 5002 Almeda-Genoa Road in South Houston, this school welcomes 489 students and families every day. Principal Cedric Starks leads a team dedicated to helping every child succeed. Our school provides free public education, which means every Houston child has the right to attend without paying tuition. Beyond classroom learning, Frost Elementary offers free breakfast and lunch for all students, after-school programs, and support services for families who need extra help. The school connects directly to our neighborhood's future - when our elementary students succeed, our whole community grows stronger. Parents can get involved by volunteering in classrooms, joining the Parent-Teacher Association, or attending school board meetings. Frost Elementary prepares students for middle school and beyond, giving them reading, math, and social skills they need. Families can enroll their children by visiting the school office or calling (713) 732-3490. Houston ISD also provides transportation, special education services, and programs for students learning English. This school is part of our public education system that serves every child, regardless of family income or background.
