Overview
Since 1971, Citizens Environmental Coalition has brought together over 100 environmental groups across Houston and the Gulf Coast. They connect people who care about our community and our environment. CEC helps residents learn about environmental issues and find groups working on solutions. They host programs, events, and create resources that strengthen the whole environmental community. Their goal is simple: make sure every Houston resident can be an environmental steward. Whether you want to learn more, volunteer, or join an organization doing this work, CEC connects you with neighbors who share your values. They believe environmental protection works best when many groups work together.
