Overview
The BIPOC Arts Network and Fund puts money directly into organizations and artist groups run by Black, Latinx, Indigenous, Asian American, Pacific Islander, Middle Eastern, and other artists of color in Houston. These groups celebrate their communities through art and culture. BANF started by giving 2 million dollars to help artists share their power, values, and traditions with Houston. The fund breaks down walls between different arts groups and brings people together. It shows that Houston has amazing artists of color. Anyone can support these artists and learn from them. BANF changes how arts funding works in our city by putting resources where they make the biggest difference — right in the hands of the artists and leaders who know their communities best.
