Where We Live
The Houston Land Bank board meets monthly to review property acquisitions, development partner selections, and affordable housing project approvals. The Land Bank acquires tax-delinquent and vacant properties and makes them available for affordable housing development, turning empty lots into homes for Houston families. Meetings are open to the public and residents can attend to learn about affordable housing projects planned for their neighborhoods.
