The Hobby Area District board meets monthly to review public safety, beautification, and economic development programs for the area surrounding William P. Hobby Airport in southeast Houston. Board meetings are open to the public. The Hobby area serves as a major transportation gateway for Houston and the district works to improve the experience for travelers, workers, residents, and businesses near the airport.
