Where We Live
Harris County Emergency Services District 46 board meets monthly to oversee fire protection and emergency services for the Katy and west Harris County area. Board meetings are open to the public. The district serves one of the fastest-growing areas of the Houston region and board decisions cover station expansion, apparatus acquisition, firefighter recruiting, and staffing levels to keep pace with rapid residential and commercial development.
