The Ground Beneath Us
The Coastal Water Authority board meets monthly to oversee surface water supply operations from Lake Livingston to the City of Houston and Harris County industrial users. Board meetings are open to the public and cover water treatment plant operations, pipeline infrastructure, supply reliability, and capital improvements. The CWA is a critical piece of the regional water supply system that ensures millions of Houston-area residents have access to clean drinking water.
