Request for approval of an interlocal agreement for law enforcement services with North Park Public Utility District for two (2) deputy positions effective July 11, 2026.

Harris County Commissioners Court will vote on July 9, 2026, on an interlocal agreement with North Park Public Utility District to assign two dedicated Harris County deputies to the district starting July 11, 2026. Under the Contract Deputy Program, the district and county share costs. Assigned deputies patrol the area, respond to calls, handle traffic enforcement, and work directly with the community on local safety. The meeting is at 1001 Preston St., 1st Floor, Houston, TX 77002.

If approved, two Harris County deputies will be assigned specifically to the North Park Public Utility District area starting July 11, 2026. Residents in that district may see changes in how law enforcement patrols and responds locally.
